The Automotive Body Parts Association (ABPA) is pleased to announce that it has chosen the Renaissance Hotel NASHVILLE as the location for the annual ABPA Convention to be held from September 21-24, 2021. After numerous site visits by the ABPA Convention Committee members, the Renaissance Nashville was chosen for its ideal location, modern meeting space, and tremendous value for our attendees.
The ABPA Convention is the place to be to meet and network with the major players in our industry. In attendance will parts distributors, manufacturers, vendors and electronic information providers. Also in attendance this year will be representatives from 6 out of the top 11 insurance companies. This is an event not to be missed!
The Renaissance Hotel Nashville is located in “Music City”, Nashville, TN with multiple options for dining, golf and entertainment. The ABPA has secured a special rate of $252 per night which offers a tremendous value for attendees. Perfectly located in the heart of the business district, this downtown Nashville’s location allows for maximum exploration. Attendees will find easy access to many attractions including Bridgestone Arena, Nissan Stadium, BB King Blues Club, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the historic Second Avenue District.
A new option this year is the "Virtual Registration" for attendees who will not be able to join us in person in Nashville. Intertek, CAPA’s Validator, will be providing updates on new CAPA standards, new developments, and new programs. In the presentation, we will also be discussing the differences between the CAPA Certification program and the CAPA Verification program, as well as providing details of a new verification program that is directed toward Tier 1 suppliers.

The ABPA and the Renaissance Nashville Hotel are committed to providing a comfortable and safe environment for our attendees. The hotel has been closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization statements regarding COVID-19 and is following the guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments on appropriate hygiene standards. Hotel staff are expected to follow the CDC recommendations for everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases and we encourage our attendees do the same. The following safety measures are in place at the hotel:
-Face coverings are required for all hotel associates and strongly recommended for all ABPA attendees during ABPA events, including signage on property to reinforce the CDC guidance
-ABPA Attendees will be required to provide proof of either a negative Covid PCR test (taken within 72 hours) OR a proof of vaccination
-Hand sanitizer stations available throughout the hotel
-Increased cleaning frequency with highly disinfectant cleaning products and electrostatic sprayers
-Technology to assist with touchless transactions (i.e. Mobile check in and Mobile requests)
-Barriers placed in high contact areas to prevent the face-to-face contact (i.e. front desk pods)
-Adjusted housekeeping protocols for guest rooms
