List of Eateries to Open in Nashville’s Assembly Food Hall

Set to open late 2020, Assembly Food Hall is a comprehensive culinary and entertainment destination that will anchor the Fifth + Broadway project. It is a multi-level, European-style food hall featuring over two dozen food spaces and bars, a full-service wine-focused restaurant, a rooftop live music venue with amazing views of the Ryman Auditorium.

While we’ve been told there will be more announcements coming in the next few months. To date, here is a list of restaurants confirmed for the Assembly Food Hall.

Prince’s Hot Chicken

Created by Thornton Prince, what some refer to as the Father of Nashvile’s Hot Chicken. Over 100 years later, Prince’s remains in the family with his great niece Andre Prince Jeffries continuing the tradition. Prince’s had to close its original location after a car drove thru the front of the building, currently they have one location at 5814 Nolensville Pike, Nashville.

The Pharmacy

Known as Nashville’s “Wurst Burger” known for their German wurst and beer.  You will find they offer a selection of burgers that are 100 percent raised beef in Tennessee. They also offer soda with pure sugar cane and they offer in-house made condiments. The beer garden/burger joint first location is the East Nashville neighborhood.

Edley’s Bar-B-Cue

This barb-cue joint was selected as Reese Witherspoon’s favorite in a Good Housekeeping Guide to Nashville. Witherspoon says it has all the essentials- ribs, brisket, and fried okra. They currently have three locations in the Nashville area.

Hattie Jane’s Creamery

Hattie Jane’s Creamery is an artisan ice cream shop with locations in downtown Columbia and downtown Murfreesboro. They make their ice cream, waffle cones, baked treats and many toppings from scratch in-house, and take home pints are always available. They even have a unique Swirl Freeze® machine allows you to truly create your own blended flavor- there’s over  a100,000 combinations.

DeSano Pizzeria

If a trip to Italy is not in your plans this year, the next best thing is DeSano pizza. They have Mozzarella di Bufala made for them each week in Campania, then flown in fresh, flour shipped by boat, and salt straight from the Mediterranean. It all makes for a slice of pizza that you won’t forget.

No Baked Cookie Dough makes gourmet, edible cookie dough. Scoop shops are located in Nashville, Louisville, Lexington, Chattanooga, & Springfield. And they ship nationwide. We highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie dough.

Smokin Chikin

Rotisserie & Grill proudly serves gourmet rotisserie chicken inspired by diverse flavors from around the world. This will be the third location for owners Roger Khan and Mohsun Ghias.

Thai Esane

Thai Esane has become a Nashville favorite since opening in 2014, serving popular Thai dishes from Pad Thai to Malaysian-style noodles. This will be the second location of Thai Esane for owner Nina Singto

Liege Waffles

They specialize in Belgian Liege waffles made with brioche-style dough and imported Belgian pearl sugar, baked on a cast-iron waffle press.

Steam Boys

Steam Boys has locations in Germantown and Hermitage, they are well-known by locals for bao buns, dumplings, and noodles.

About Fifth + Broadway

Fifth + Broadway is one of the largest single mixed-use developments in the history of Nashville and the state of Tennessee. The transformative downtown project will deliver 200,000 square feet of strategically important retail and entertainment, the 56,000 square foot National Museum for African American Music, 372,000 square feet of Class-A office space at 501 Commerce, 386 residential units at The Place at Fifth + Broadway, and more than 2,000 parking spaces.
