Assembly Food Hall Announces Two New Restaurants

-

Assembly Food Hall is bringing two new-to-Nashville concepts to its multilevel dining and entertainment destination at Fifth + Broadway.

Whisk Crepes Café will feature sweet and savory crepes that Chef Julien Eelsen learned to make as a child in France. Born and raised in Paris, he learned the art of creating “the perfect crepe” from his grandmother. Chef Eelsen’s menu includes savory crepes with a variety of fillings like eggs, chicken, ham, bacon, smoked salmon and brisket. “Midnight in Paris” is one of his sweet crepes made with raspberries, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and chocolate ice cream, while “Fair Day” features cinnamon cream, apples, caramel and pecans. Chef Eelsen also plans to serve salads and sandwiches, including Croque Monsieur, and espressos and lattes with coffee sourced from local vendors.

The Philly Special brings a taste from the city of brotherly love to Nashville. The star of the menu is an authentic Philly Cheesesteak “Whiz Wit” on a traditional Amoroso bun from New Jersey. From the thinly sliced ribeye, to “Whiz” cheese and “Wit” or without caramelized onions, this Philly Cheesesteak is the real deal. To add a whimsical touch, the eatery will also serve funnel cakes and fried Oreos with ice cream and sauces.

“These two new eateries we are bringing to Assembly Food Hall are fan favorites at our sister property, Legacy Food Hall, in Plano, Texas,” said David Daniels, senior vice president of marketing at The Food Hall Co., Assembly Food Hall’s parent company. “We are excited to bring both concepts to Nashville which complement an already stellar line-up for the food hall.”

Scheduled to open in spring 2021, the massive multilevel dining and entertainment destination will feature more than two dozen eateries and bars, full-service restaurants, live music venues, and an expansive rooftop space overlooking Broadway.
