Australian Inspired Cafe Opens on Gallatin Ave

A new Australian inspired cafe has opened in Nashville.

Located at 914 Gallatin Avenue, Hearts recently opened in a transformed space that was formerly an auto shop.

Via the website, it states, “HEARTS is inspired by the incredible food and coffee scene of Melbourne, Australia — a city that boasts more cafes per capita than anywhere else in the world. HEARTS will be serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch, with a core menu that reflects the owners’ Aussie heritage via classic egg-based dishes, salads, sandwiches, and healthy bowls — all featuring locally-sourced produce from right here in the heart of Nashville.”

The breakfast/brunch menu features eggs on toast along with twice-cooked french toast with bananas, maple, and carmelised walnuts. You can find Matcha smoothies and acai smoothie with a selection of baked goods. For lunch/dinner, they feature a charred broccoli salad bowl, chicken katsu roll, and an Aussie burger. Hours of operation are Monday – Thursday, 7 am – 5 pm, Friday – Sunday, 8 am – 9 pm. Hearts will be available to take orders online here.
