UPDATE: The event has been canceled due to Coronavirus and the safety of the attendees.
Celebrity personal trainer Erin Oprea will host a tornado relief fundraiser in mid March.
The event is called “Tennessee Rising Celebrating Strength & Community” taking place on Saturday, March 14 from 9:30 am until noon at Marathon Music Works, 1402 Clinton Street, Nashville.
Joining Oprea will be Amy Brown from The Bobby Bones Show and friends where each attendee will participate in a workout led by Oprea. All attendees are asked to bring a workout mat.
Oprea lives in the Germantown neighborhood, an area that was in the path of the EF-3 tornado that touched down in Nashville. Immediately after the tornado, Oprea set up a donation area in her neighborhood giving daily updates on social media as to the immediate needs of the neighborhood.
“The tornado ripped right down our street and some of the worst damage is in my neighborhood. I am fortunate but many of my neighbors & Nashvillians have had their lives turned upside down and do not have the resources to rebuild,” Oprea shared.
