Central BBQ Hillsboro will mark the brand’s sixth BBQ joint in Tennessee and second in Nashville, joining a location in Capitol View. True to the craft of barbecue, CBQ Hillsboro will offer savory meats, sandwiches, nachos and, of course, traditional sides and desserts – all served with Central BBQ’s signature Southern hospitality.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received since opening our first Central BBQ in Nashville in 2019,” said Craig Blondis, founder of Central BBQ. “As we expand our Nashville footprint with this new neighborhood joint, we look forward to sharing our love of all things barbecue with Hillsboro Village and the surrounding community. Music City is a fantastic barbecue town, and we know that CBQ Hillsboro will show residents and visitors alike why Memphis-style barbecue is at the top of the list.”
SMOKE IS OUR SAUCE
At Central BBQ, Blondis has implemented a unique technique where smoke is the sauce. Local wood, intricate dry rub and years of experience help to craft the most tender, delicious ‘que – with or without the sauce. The CBQ Hillsboro menu will echo the Capitol View and Memphis area locations, including award-winning BBQ favorites like the Pulled Pork Sandwich, Ribs, and BBQ Nachos, made with pork, beef, turkey or meatless. You can’t have barbeque without delicious sides, and CBQ offers all of the Southern favorites like Fries, Mac ‘N Cheese, Slaw, Greens and Beans. Add CBQ’s Banana Pudding for the perfect ending to any meal.
DINE IN AND STAY, OR TAKE-AWAY
Central BBQ’s Hillsboro Village space is inspired by Southern hospitality, with a warm, authentic atmosphere. This barbecue joint is a place to gather with friends, family and neighbors, in accordance with safety and social distancing protocols, as the opening will comply with all COVID-19 health and safety standards. There will be ample room in the two-floor, 5,300 square foot space to accommodate diners, and even host future private events. With a to-go window built in for curbside pickup, BBQ aficionados can easily take their ‘que on the road. Central BBQ also offers delivery through Door Dash, Uber Eats and Postmates.
THE CBQ COMMUNITY PROMISE
In line with their belief that the community comes first, the Central BBQ family is dedicated to giving back to their neighbors – and Hillsboro Village is no exception. To celebrate the opening of CBQ Hillsboro and to give thanks to Nashville’s hardworking doctors, nurses, and hospital staff, Central BBQ is hosting a socially-distant Healthcare Heroes “Happy Hour” preview event.
CBQ will invite frontline workers with valid hospital badge or other medical professional I.D. to join them in mid-March for a complimentary meal and beverage, before the restaurant opens to the public. To ensure social distance and capacity limits are respected, RSVPs will be required; follow @centralBBQ on Instagram to stay up-to-date with further details, including the RSVP link. Upon opening, additional promotions and giveaways will be shared by the Central BBQ team for the community to enjoy.
