Commons Club, Virgin Hotel Nashville’s flagship restaurant, bar and lounge is now open and serving guests.
Located on the ground floor of the hotel, Commons Club delivers a one-of-a-kind experience with delicious food from celebrated Executive Chef Ryan Lachaine, thoughtfully crafted cocktails and live entertainment in a vibrant atmosphere.
Commons Club offers three distinct spaces for guests to explore including The Bar, the beautifully designed centerpiece anchoring the space, The Shag Room, an intimate hangout tucked away for small groups and The Kitchen, an open style kitchen concept and dining room.
The Bar at Commons Club debuts with a curated menu crafted by chef Lachaine featuring tempting small plates infused with bold flavors and seasonal ingredients. Guests can enjoy bites like Chicken Fried Mushrooms with country gravy, Korean Fried Chicken Wings and Butter Burgers or opt for lighter plates like Salmon Crudo, Campechana with crab and rock shrimp and Blistered Shishito Peppers with curry, ricotta and apple.

The Bar is complete with a menu of “bevies” designed by Lead Mixologist MacKenzie Tierney, who has worked behind the bar at a number of Nashville spots. The menu includes handcrafted cocktails with a spirit-forward classics and rotating seasonal drinks like the refreshing Obligatory Vodka Cocktail with vodka, pineapple and black cherry and the smoky Redheaded Stranger with Herencia de Plata Añejo tequila, Giffard banana and blood orange. Guests can also enjoy a selection of wines by the glass and bottle and a variety of local beers including drafts from Jackalope, New Heights, Mantra and more.
The Bar at Commons Club offers a variety of weekly specials including The Bachelorette viewing parties on Tuesdays, 50% off select bottles of wine on “Wined Down” Wednesdays and local DJ residencies with food and beverage specials every Thursday through Saturday. DJ sets include Justin and Darren (Thursday), Marissa Sardar (Friday) and The Get Up (Saturday). Commons Club is also pet-friendly and offers complimentary water and treats for all four-legged friends. The bar and lounge are open Tuesday-Saturday from 4pm-11pm. Walk-ins are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
On Sundays, Commons Club transforms into a boozy brunch destination complete with bottomless mimosas and beats by popular local DJ j.howard, founder of Nashville’s Queer Dance Party, to keep the room buzzing all day long. Brunch is available from 10am-4pm on Sundays. Reservations are encouraged and can be made via OpenTable.

Designed by leading interior design firm Mark Zeff, each space within Commons Club achieves its own sense of exclusivity while creating an atmosphere that is elevated yet approachable. Drawing inspiration from the Nashville region, design details are represented through the use of intricate brick, roughhewn timber, sumptuous furnishings and refined industrial elements.
Commons Club joins Virgin Hotels Nashville’s unique dining and drinking destinations including The Pool Club, rooftop restaurant and bar and Funny Library Coffee Shop, which are currently open. The Kitchen at Commons Club, which will offer an expanded dinner menu, dining room and chef’s table experience, will debut in early 2021.
