During the heat of the summer, nothing sounds better than an ice cream sandwich.
The Baked Bear, a shop specializing in ice cream sandwiches, opened July 17 at 1809 Division St. in Nashville.
Announcing via Facebook,”We are thrilled to announce our GRAND OPENING this Friday, July 17th @ 7pm! To provide a safe environment for our customers & employees, we ask that everyone practice safe social distancing while visiting the store (located at 1809 Division St.). Our team will be wearing gloves and masks at all times. We can’t wait to begin serving the Nashville community!”
At Baked Bear, customers can customize their ice cream sandwich by choosing a cookie and an ice cream flavor. You can even choose a different cookie for the top and the bottom. You can also choose your toppings. Each month, The Baked Bear offers a new cookie they bake from scratch. For the month of July, they are offering “Bear Tracks,” a cookie made with sprinkles, oreos, and M&M’s.
In addition to the ice cream sandwich they offer a “Bear Bowl” – a warm chocolate chip cookie or brownie with a scoop of ice cream.
This is the first Tennessee location for The Baked Bear. The Baked Bear was created by childhood friends, Rob Robbins and Shane Stanger who left their careers to follow their true passion: serving up inventive sweets to their home town of San Diego.
