Setsun East to Close

-

East Nashville restaurant Setsun will close its doors later this month.

Owned by Chef Jason Zygmont, the restaurant was located at 105 S 11th Street in Historic Five Points of East Nashville.

Via Instagram Chef Jason announced the closure. Stating, “Sadly, all good things must come to an end. The final evening of service for Setsun will be January 23rd. I started Setsun nearly two years ago, trying to create the type of restaurant that I wanted to go to. Something I thought Nashville was missing. Our goal was to create a warm, inviting environment that served approachable, delicious food and natural, low intervention wine. To those goals, I believe we succeeded. Unfortunately, we ran head first into a tornado and then Covid.”

It continued, “I owe a great debt of gratitude to everyone that helped me make this vision a reality: Ray Melendi, Brad Webb, Eddie Badillo, Drew Davis, Kali Wilson, Paige Pennington, Bianca Loregio, Sam Burgess, Kate Cunningham, Danielle Holbert, Tracy Yarborough and everyone else that I know I am forgetting. It has been a sincere pleasure having y’all on my team and the memories of making Setsun a reality are the true reward of our time together. Thank you to our loyal customers and fans: without y’all we wouldn’t have made it past our first week.I hope y’all will join us for our last 2 weeks of service and send us off in style.”

Hours of operation are currently Monday, Wednesday, Saturday from 5 pm – 10 pm, and Sunday 10 am – 2:30 pm. Call 629-215-9337 for to-go orders.
