After 11 years, The Garden Brunch Cafe, located at 924 Jefferson Street, closes its doors.
The restaurant announced the closure via Facebook.
“We want to thank everyone who has supported the Garden Brunch Cafe throughout our 11 year run. It has been a pleasure to serve Nashville! We were honored to be a part of such a wonderful and beautiful city.”
The message continued, “We are Nashville Strong so even though we are closing permanently, we are so blessed to have been a part of this city! We will continue to pray for our great city and we will always keep this experience in our hearts. Thank you Nashville!”
The Garden Brunch Cafe closed during COVID-19 but then reopened for takeout orders before announcing their permanent closure.
The restaurant was featured on Tennessee Crossroads in 2013. The show highlighted the home, which houses the restaurant, as it was once home to architect William Strickland, the designer for Tennessee State Capitol building. Owned by husband and wife Jennifer and Carl Carpenter, they created a cafe on made from scratch items on the menu discovered on their travels.
