Adventure Science Center is hosting a “backyard bash” Saturday, August 29th from 10 am – 3 pm.
Adventure Science Center is located at 800 Fort Negley Boulevard, Nashville
The event promises some special summer science experiments, maker activities, games, and live science shows, all set up outside to allow for social distancing and tons of outdoor fun.
In addition, you can design and launch your own rocket, build and test a tiny boat, make some GIANT bubbles, and create chromatography butterflies with Maker Space educators.
You can also take part in a self-guided nature scavenger hunt and they will show you how you can contribute to ongoing scientific research in your own backyard. Special Live Science presentations will occur at 1 pm and 3 pm outdoors and there will be a DJ spinning tunes from 11 am to 1 pm. Free snacks will be available from Zee Zees.
