About Crossroads Campus
Crossroads is a Nashville non-profit that uses the healing power of the human-animal bond to help people and animals in need. This is done through innovative programs that provide humane education, job training and affordable housing for young people and adoptions for homeless animals.
Based in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood, Crossroads Campus provides education and a safe environment that builds and fosters human-animal connections to stop the cycle of animal cruelty and build community. Working with local youth groups, the organization matches shelter animals and young people facing adversity to create hope and a sense of connection. It offers long-term paid internships caring for animals to equip young adults with the job and life skills they need to break negative cycles and live confidently. Since 2013, it has graduated dozens of interns and launched a pilot program to indefinitely house and employ foster and homeless young adults until they achieve independence. Learn more at Crossroads Campus.
