It’s the spookiest time of year in Nashville! The Halloween fun lasts all month long so we compiled a list of the most festive events of the season!
1. Boo at the Zoo
When: Oct. 11-13, 18-20, 4-27, various times

What: Trick-or-treating, Howl-O-Ween Hayride, animal/science/magic shows, carnival games, bounce houses, dance parties, and see some of your favorite zoo animals!
2. Halloween Pooch Parade
When: Oct. 26, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Where:Â Cheekwood Estate & Gardens
What:Â Costume contests for dogs and owners, popsicle-eating contest, kid activities, and more!
3. Halloween Costume Paddle
When: Oct. 26, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Where:Â East Bank of the Cumberland River
What:Â Dress up and paddle down the river with Cumberland Kayak and Nashville Paddle Company! Costume contests for dogs and owners, popsicle-eating contest, kid activities, and more! Rent a kayak or participate for free if you bring your own!
4. Halloween at the Mansion
When:Â Oct. 26, 4:00 – 8:00 pm
Where:Â Two Rivers Mansion
What:Â Storytelling, a haunted basement, pumpkin painting, hayrides, food, music and more!
5. Pumpkinfest
When: Oct. 26, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Where:Â Downtown Franklin
What:Â Dress up and stroll the streets of downtown Franklin for the largest fall festival in middle Tennessee! Costume contests, pumpkin carvings, food vendors, kid zones, live entertainment and more!
6. Halloween Movie Night – Metropolis – Silent Film
When:Â Oct. 30, 7:00 pm
Where:Â Schermerhorn Symphony Center
What:Â Come to the Schermerhorn in costume to enjoy the 1927 silent film, Metropolis, accompanied by the scary sounds of organist, Peter Krasinski.
7. Jack’s Pumpkin Glow
When:Â Now – Oct. 27, various times
Where:Â The Hermitage
What:Â A jack-o-lantern extravaganza! More than 5,000 pumpkin carvings including some larger than life displays!
8. Nashville Haunted Tours
When:Â Now – Nov. 9, various times
Where:Â Downtown Nashville
What:Â Explore the spooky side of Music City on a Nashville Haunted Tour! Your lantern-bearing tour guide will take you on a half mile journey around downtown Nashville and tell you haunted stories that might send chills up your spine!
9. Halloween Movie Series
When: Fridays during October
Where:Â Tailgate Brewery
What:Â Free outdoor Halloween movies starting at dark every Friday throughout October. Bring a blanket and your dog!
10. Halloween in the Park
When:Â Oct. 12, 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Where:Â Charlie Daniels Park
What:Â Costume contests, hayrides, petting zoo, inflatables, food vendors and lots of free candy!
