One in five Americans 65+ has been a victim of scams and fraud cases, sources say. Senior adults are often the target of scams because it’s widely assumed that seniors have a “nest egg”, own their home, or have excellent credit.
An upcoming class, at the Williamson County Main Library, will outline the most popular scams, identify why seniors are targeted, and pinpoint what can be done to prevent these scams from happening to you. Paula Daigle, Directory & Project Manager, Council on Aging of Middle Tennessee will lead the class.missing or outdated ad config
