Anis is a two-time National Poetry Slam Champion and Def Jam poet. “Mojgani is not your typical national poetry slam champion. He possesses all of the insight and passion one would expect, but very little of the formulaic anger. The playfulness, startling originality, and lyric optimism are all gravy. He’s simply the best there is right now.” — Taylor Mali, 4-time National Poetry Slam Champion “

Whether you’re curious about gardening, or an expert green-thumb, this Urban Agriculture project is for you! Come help us as we install and maintain our new urban farm by digging in the ground, planting starts and seeds, watering and weeding our existing rows, and making new garden rows to plant in. No experience necessary (but if you’ve got it, we’ll certainly put it to use!), and we’ll have all the tools you’ll need right on site. Water will be provided, but please bring your own water bottle in efforts to reduce the amount of waste we generate on the farm.
