The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) invites area seniors (55+) to participate in an upcoming outing at an area attraction. The activities are open to the public.

Golf Day at Shelby Golf Course 
Come celebrate National Golf Day on Thursday, April 25 at Shelby Golf Course. Located in
historic East Nashville, Shelby Golf Course opened in 1924. It has the distinction of being the first municipal golf course in Nashville. The eighteen-hole course, located in beautiful Shelby Park, incorporates rolling hills and a picturesque landscape into the golfing experience.  The group will play 9-holes of golf at the beautiful Nashville course and eat lunch (Dutch treat) afterwards at a local restaurant. The cost of the outing is $33 per person. This includes golf cart rental, green fee, clubs rental, and transportation. Golf balls are available at the golf course or participants may bring their own.

The group will depart the Williamson County Enrichment Center, 110 Everbright Ave., Franklin at 9:00 a.m. and return at 1:00 p.m.
