The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) invites area seniors (55+) to participate in an upcoming day trip to visit an area attraction. This activity is open to the public.
A trip is planned for Thursday, June 13 to Big Whisker’s Catfish Farm. Located in Lewisburg, Tennessee, Big Whisker’s Catfish Farm is home to a large stocked fishing pond open to the public. No gear, bait or license will be necessary. Join us on this fishing trip and you might just catch the monster catfish of the day. A lunch (Dutch treat) of burgers, fries and other concessions will be served. The cost of the outing is $30. The group will depart the Williamson County Enrichment Center, 110 Everbright Ave., Franklin at 10:00 a.m. and return at 3:30. Registration is at www.wcparksandrec.com. Registration code #14742.
