Parks & Rec Offers Senior Bocce Ball League

Williamson County Parks and Recreation will be offering an outdoor bocce ball league beginning in July. Games will be played on the outdoor courts at the Academy Park campus located behind the Williamson County Enrichment Center, 110 Everbright Ave., Franklin. The league will play for four weeks on Monday afternoons beginning July 1(skip 7/15) from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

The league is open to anyone 55+ and for players with little to moderate skill level. On-line registration is now underway at www.wcparksandrec.com. Cost is $15. Registration code #14763.

Bocce, also known as Italian lawn bowling, is one of the most widely played games in the world and is one of the oldest lawn or yard games.
